Berry Recruitment in Croydon has appointed Jennifer Harvey as its new Operations Manager and she has already expanded the business. The branch originally operated in the commercial sector but now also covers driving, industrial and catering.
Jennifer has 12 years’ experience in the recruitment industry and formerly worked for an agency in Sutton. She has a wide knowledge of the jobs outlook in the region and is bullish about the future.
Jennifer said: “The branch already had some great national clients and we have put together a dynamic team. We have relatively new offices at ground floor level in the High Street and this has added to the numbers of candidates we are seeing. In terms of employment, I think we are back to where we were before the recession and salaries are increasing now, which is fantastic. There are more vacancies than candidates so if you have a good CV you have increased power.
“Berry is lovely to work for. Despite the number of branches it still has a family feel and I am always able to pick up the phone and speak to the directors. They really do invest in the staff and I know that if my team ever require anything I know I can call the training department and get things done. There is a great emphasis on training which is great when attracting new consultants.”
Berry Recruitment Group (BRG) has 30 branches across England and Wales and achieved turnover approaching £60m during 2015.Click here to download the related PDF.
