Berry Recruitment Group (BRG) has established its first branch in the north east by opening offices in Darlington.
The fast-growing recruiter has 34 offices that now cover all areas of England and Wales.
Managing the branch is Dani Gallone, an experienced consultant who has been with Manpower for the last five years working across the north east.
The Darlington branch is at first concentrating on the industrial sector and is situated on Woodland Road. After a quick start with strong demand, Dani is already in the process of recruiting her own team at Berry Recruitment.
She said: “It’s been a really positive start with a number of clients coming on board and candidates getting in touch. It’s taken off so quickly that I’m already bringing in new staff and I fully expect our development to continue. We are beginning by concentrating on the industrial sector, but aim to expand our scope and then open further branches as we develop”.
“Berry Recruitment Group is a wonderful company to work for, with helpful management and great training in place. It’s big enough to cope and small enough to care. I am hugely positive about the economic outlook across the region and I sense a confidence growing.”
Lee Gamble, Berry Recruitment managing director, said: “The north east was the only region in which we didn’t have a presence and we are pleased to be in a place with such potential for growth. Recruiting Dani has already proved to be a good decision and the speed that the branch has taken off shows that there is a big market there.”
BRG’s brands include Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Express Rail Services and Wild Berry Associates, which has recently opened in London’s West End.
The company, which is headquartered in St Albans, Herts, has a turnover in excess of £60m and employs well over 200 staff.
