The relocation has given the branch more footfall and has also assisted the local authority in revitalising part of the town centre.
It has helped progress a key part of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s investment programme to redevelop and attract shoppers to the town’s eastern entrance.
Berry Recruitment specialises in the ‘driving’, ‘industrial’, ‘office’ and‘construction’ sectors. Now six staff strong, the branch has seen rapid growth and considers its new location to be the optimum place in the town.
Debbie Dowling, Berry’s Regional Director, said: “The offices are not far from our old ones, but are much bigger and we get far more people passing. Since the move we have taken on three new members of staff and that also reflects a good local economy.
