Role Overview: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that their enquiries are resolved efficiently and professionally. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience, building trust, and promoting our brand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide advice and information to customers and staff as the first point of contact, always putting customers first and building trust.

  • Proactively identify the best solutions for each customer, creating value for the company while actively promoting the brand.

  • Accurately and efficiently process bookings, invoices, and payments using company systems and procedures.

  • Plan, monitor, and adjust collection and delivery routes and schedules as necessary.

  • Collate and input information onto databases and spreadsheets as required.

  • Maintain records, produce accurate documentation, and generate regular statistical information and management reports.

  • Handle customer complaints effectively, resolving them sympathetically to the customer’s satisfaction.

  • Follow company policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.


Person Specification:


Essential:



  • Educated to A-Level or an equivalent standard.

  • RSA Level 1 or equivalent.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines.

  • Proven customer service experience.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, data inputting, and report extraction.


Desirable:



  • Experience in a waste management service.

  • Experience in business marketing and promotion.

  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
