Description:

We are currently looking for Hygiene/Production Operatives for client based in Headcorn.

Job description

• Ensure all products are made to company specification including, temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, reporting all failures to Team leader and/or shift manager.


• Assemble, blending, and packing of quality products to company standards at all times, reporting any failures.


• Cleaning of work areas as instructed by management team and following the companies cleaning instruction cards.


• Complete cleaning tasks in accordance with the designated site cleaning schedule and relevant procedures.


• Conduct cleaning tasks using the correct designated chemicals, following the principles of COSHH at all times.


• Ensure site cleaning records are completed accurately and in a timely manner and that any issues are raised immediately to the Hygiene Supervisor.


• Assist in site control of chemicals, including the storage, security and stock control.


• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.


• Ensure that all cleaning chemicals are used correctly and safely as per cleaning procedures and that all PPE is correctly used.


• Ensure all HACCP procedures are adhered to at all times, and all CCP`s you are responsible for is within specification.


• Complete all relevant documentation.


• Any additional ad-hoc duties as instructed by line manager.

Skills and qualification

• Knowledge of working within a factory would be desirable.


• Good knowledge of food/drinks manufacturing processes is desirable.


• Able to sustain and develop team working and team based problem solving.


• Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues.


• Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives.


• Full understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

Working Hours and Benefits

• Monday to Thursday (ad hoc basis)


• 11pm to 7am


• Pay 13.74 p/h, weekly payments
