Berry Recruitment are urgently recruiting for an ongoing temporary School Cook in Sale

Hours of work are 8am-2pm in term time, with immediate starts available. These are flexible temporary roles and you will have plenty of schools to choose from.

Ideally will have some school/care home/contract catering experience however all backgrounds considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• keeping the kitchen clean and tidy


• running kitchen


• preparing meals


• using ordering system


• compliance


• manual handling


• Any other duties as required

You will be required to have an enhanced DBS to work with in this school, if you don't have one of these (on the update service) we are happy to do it as part of the registration process but there will be a charge to the applicant of £48. There will also be training required for Keeping Children Safe in Education, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene.
