Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a CAD Designer (Metal Works) to work for our new client in Witney, Oxford

Role: CAD Designer (Metal Works)

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Hours: 40hrs per week – 08:00 – 4:30 Monday to Friday

This is a fully office based in order to support the build teams on the work shop floor.

Key Responsibilities of the CAD Designer

• Learn and apply 3D CAD modelling techniques to complex designs and assignments.


• To provide design solutions for our projects with guidance from engineering personnel.


• Assist in creating 3D models, engineering drawings and layouts.


• Learn to compile technical documentation such as user manuals, spec sheets and work instructions.


• Assist on projects as part of a design team.


• Assist both Mechanical and Electrical Production teams with information and drawings.

About you:

• Must have experience with metal working


• 3D CAD experience, ideally Autodesk inventor, Auto Desk Vault & AutoCAD


• Experience in laser cut parts and fabrication desirable.


• Well-motivated, competent, and analytical person.


• Computer literate and keen to learn and develop.


• A keen willingness to learn and apply new skills.


• Self-motivating, reliable, consistent, and mature approach to work
