Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Machinist to work for a brand new client in Watlington, Oxfordshire

Role: CNC Machinist

Salary: £30,000 - £41,600 – Dependant on Experience

Location: Watlington, Oxfordshire

Hours: 40 hour week – Monday to Friday – Early finish Friday (2pm)

Start date: Immediate

About the role:

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating Hurco lathes and milling machines.


• Competent at setting and operating CNC milling machines in a Sub Contract environment


• Understand and work to engineering drawings


• Ability to inspect your own work to a high standard


• A good positive, self motivated attitude.


• Machine all different kinds of metals, plastics, exotic materials and laminates.


• Bespoke and low volume production for various industries


• Industry sectors Aerospace, Motorsport, Science & research, Medical, Renewable Energy, Cryogenics and many more.

About you:

• Must be able to read and follow engineering drawings.


• Must have experience of setting CNC Milling machines.


• Be self motivated, have a good work ethic and eager to improve.


• Have a good understanding of engineering tooling and 3 axis work holding.


• Offline programming knowledge would be an advantage

Due to the rural location of the site it is necessary to have your own transport.
