Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant based at a large establishment in Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds.


Main Purpose of Job: Responsible for managing the purchase ledger function and assisting within the finance department.


Purchase Ledger Duties:



  • Process invoices efficiently.

  • Match purchase orders to invoices and GRNs.

  • Handle employee expenses.

  • Reconcile supplier statements.

  • Prepare supplier payment runs.

  • Assist with month-end processing.


Accounts Assistant Duties:



  • Support sales ledger tasks.

  • Assist with cash management.

  • Contribute to reporting.

  • Address time and attendance queries.


Qualifications / Experience:



  • Purchase Ledger: 1 year (preferred)

  • Accounts Payable: 1 year (preferred)

  • Strong Excel skills.


Character & Personal Qualities:



  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.


Job Type: Full-time - Monday-Friday.


Pay: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
