Berry Recruitment is hiring! We require a Senior Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer to work for our new client in Oxfordshire.

Our client is seeking a Permanent Senior Site Engineer to join our National Client specialising in construction and civil engineering. With rapid expansion across the Oxfordshire area, our client is looking for an individual who can use their problem solving skills to get the job done.

Salary: Competitive

Location: Oxfordshire – Multiple Sites

Start date: Immediate Start

About the role:

As the Senior Site Engineer your responsibilities will include and not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.


• Conduct site personnel inductions, produce and approve RAMS.


• Supervise site labour force and coordinate subcontractors.


• Provide technical support to production teams.


• Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCR), and site activities.


• Ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.


• Keep drawings and specifications up to date.


• Communicate project program and risks to project managers.


• Plan and manage site resources for safety and efficiency.


• Maintain daily records of labour, materials, and equipment.


• Communicate variations to works and contractual implications to relevant stakeholders.

About you:

Essential

• Setting out: Total Station and Rebar experience


• Demonstrable experience in setting out large scale contracts.


• Experience in producing As Builts,


• Must be able to understand Reinforcement Schedules


• Valid driving licence.


• SMSTS training

Desirable

• Good understanding of AutoCad


• Previous experience working on large projects


• Previous experience working on concrete structures such as slipform or jumpform


• First aid training


• Experience in groundworks and steel framed buildings
